In my previous article about the ministry called Amightywind.com, I have given you a brief overview of this group which calls themselves God’s elite. In this article I wish to highlight all their doctrinal errors which they make, which is sure proof that they are not God’s anointed ministry, as they wholeheartedly proclaim.
The Bible is loaded with verses which warn about the last days and the great deception that will be found. By definition, deception comes from adding or subtracting the meaning and logical flow of the Word of God. Wikipedia describes deceptions as follows: Deception is the hiding or distorting of the truth.
This ministry claims to be the “new revelation from God” to set the record straight where the Bible has been in err, amongst other blasphemous things. My first question is; does the Bible warrant a “new revelation” apart from the Bible? Does the Bible warrant changing the Scriptures by adding or subtracting or twisting it? NO, it does not, but that’s not what Elizabeth Elijah Nikomia teaches and does, or let me rather say, “prophesies”. In the very own words of this ministry, the Bible has been corrupted to such an extent that this special “Ring maiden” is chosen to correct the errors. So to conclude on point number one; Amightywind.com claims that God was not all powerful enough in order to protect His Word, the Holy Bible, and therefore Elizabeth Nikomia is given “new revelations” which are not entirely in harmony with the Bible – supposedly correcting the errors.
Does the Bible not also say in John 1:1 that “in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God, and the Word was with God”, implying that Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh. If anyone then claims to correct the Word of God (as if He was not in control to safeguard it), then I will certainly call it a blasphemous statement. (I am specifically referring to the Kings James version of scripture, which is definitely untouched – as proof, it correlates with the dead sea scrolls)
Second point to be made is; does the Bible warrant Apostles in today’s day and age? Elizabeth Elijah Nikomia claims to be an Apostle of Christ. The Bible is very clear that only holy men that knew Christ personally and have seen Him in person might be called Apostles. Reading the Bible, you will also find that Paul was the last Apostle ever as he was the last person ever to have seen Christ in person. Jesus appeared to him in a bright light, so bright that Paul (Saul at that time) was blind for three days. The Bible is also in further agreement that Christ rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and is now seated with God the Father, on His right hand, from where He will only come back with the Second Advent. Anyone claiming to have seen Christ (in physical form) since His ascension until this day is in err and contrary to the Word. To conclude on point number two; Apostleship was last relevant in and before that days of Paul and NOT today. Claiming to be an Apostle in today’s day and age is contrary to the Bible and a sure sign of self- elevation. (Not to mention that there is no record of any female Apostles)
Third point is; Elizabeth Elijah Nikomia claims that her prophecies are from God and as manna from heaven. Firstly she ads and subtracts from the Word of God and secondly she claims to be a prophet of God. My question is; is the canon closed or not? Does the Bible warrant additional prophecies to be put on par with the Bible after the book of Revelation has been written? I believe not and I will explain why we do not have prophets today – at least not prophets in the sense as Amightywind depicts. Amightywind uses verses totally out of context to proof that God does still speak to us today in the form of prophecies. Their most famous verse to back this theory up “God will inform His prophets before judgement falls…”. These verses are true for the day it was written, not for today, because God has said what He wanted to say, it is all there in the Bible to be found. The book of Revelation is packed with symbolism that depicts that battle between good and evil, God and Satan, the bride of Christ and the whore church. We already know what will happen, how God will judge evil, Satan and the whore church. Judgement has already begun so there is no need for special revelation to ad to it.
Consider the following verses:
and then 1 Cor 13:13
Above mentioned verses explain to us that when that which is perfect has come, all the gifts of the Spirit will fall away and what will remain is faith, hope and love. Charity in this context is also translated as love. This verse is clear that the prophets of old, the John’s and Daniels, only had part of the full written gospel to their exposal. But after that which is perfect came, the Bible as we have it today, all the gifts of the Spirit mentioned would fall away.
Some try to argue on this point by saying that only Christ is perfect and that these gifts will only fall away after the second advent of Christ, when Christ the perfect one comes again. My question then is; do we need faith in heaven or not? Do we need hope in heaven? The answer is no, so then the timing of this “perfect one” cannot be referring to Christ and the timing of the gifts falling away cannot be referring to Christ Second Advent.
That which is perfect, is the Word of God, the Bible. When the book of Revelation was completed, all the other gifts of the Spirit subsided and faded away. Why? Because they fulfilled their purpose, that of authenticating the Words therein and empowering the young church to grow and multiply.
History confirms this as we find in the ancient books, written by historians like Josephus, that they witnessed the falling away of these gifts. By the time of 200 AD, no record is found of anyone claiming to be a prophet or Apostle (without being labelled as a heretic). These historical records are written mostly by non-Christians so they don’t have anything to loose or gain by subjecting their views into the historical records. The canon was completed 100 Ad with the completion of Revelation, and that which is perfect, has come and prophecy as a gift stopped.
This brings me to my fourth point; Tongues. Is Tongues, as a gift of the Holy Spirit, relevant today or did this gift end when that which is perfect came? (Please reread the verses quoted above) Interesting to note is that at one stage I emailed Elizabeth asking for a Biblical explanation of tongues. What I received back was nothing more than four verses quoted without any proper explanation. At that stage, I was already convinced that tongues did cease and what we have today, is nothing more than a poor counterfeit. Later on, I emailed Kathrinyah, asking her the very same question, and to no surprise, I got the same lame answer.
After doing extensive research on this very topic, with the help of many books and eBooks, I concluded that tongues, as we know it today, whether it be private prayer languages, praying in tongues, singing in tongues, prophecies through tongues or “spiritual warfare”, it is all counterfeit and not Biblical. When listening to Elizabeth’s “prophecies” which you can find on her website, you will hear her speaking in tongues, repeating the same sounds over and over and over, and then she goes on interpreting them herself. Just this little information is enough to discredit the authenticity of Elizabeth’s tongues (and logically, her prophecies too) because:
1. Tongues is a sign for those that do NOT believe (not for believing Christians but unbelieving Jews)
2. Tongues is glosalalia - dialect or language. Elizabeth’s tongues is NOT a language given the repeated verses over and over
3. Tongues was a sign of judgement
4. Tongues had a purpose, that purpose has been fulfilled
I’m not going to go into any detail, but if you earnestly seek the truth, please click here to download All About Speaking In Tongues, by Fernand Legrand, as a PDF.
That brings me to my next point; the Pentecostal foundation of this ministry. (Dear reader, my point is only to bring the truth, so for those of you that might be offended by my statements, please bear with me, thanks)
The Bible is very clear that the last days will be marked by a great deception, and NOT a great revival, as many believe and teach nowadays. With this said, we must do a study of the Pentecostal and Charismatic history, to see of it fits the Biblical description of end time revival. If it doesn’t then it automatically falls under the banner of end time deception. I’m sure we are all familiar with the verses that warn about an end time deception, fire from heaven, Satan as the angel of light etc. so I’m not going to quote all those for you. But, what I wish to mention boldly is; given the historical records of the Christian church and it’s doctrine, from days old until little bit over a hundred years ago, we will find that most things taught in the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches on the topics of tongues, baptism in the Holy Spirit, baptism with fire, prophecy, healing, spiritual warfare and many more, was never ever mainstream Christianity for 1900 years.
That said, does the Bible warrant a change in theology in the last days under the name of “spiritual growth” or “spiritual renewal” or “revival” or “receiving the ultimate truth that was lost from the beginning”? What did all the church fathers of old believe regarding these controversial topics like tongues, fire baptism, and baptism of the Holy Spirit as a second experience after conversion, spiritual warfare etc? They all agreed on pretty much the same thing, the pure gospel taught in simplicity. Same goes for the reformers; although they didn’t have all the right doctrine, they all agreed on the same foundational truths, that of salvation in Christ through faith alone – not works or signs or wonders as proof of salvation, or power evangelism as a tool to reach the lost.
This is a fact and cannot be denied by anyone, Pentecostalism and its sister, the Charismatic movement, brought into Christianity new doctrine which was not known before. Question: does the Bible predicts an end time renewal of knowledge that will lead to spiritual revival OR does it teach the opposite, that of an end time deception? Well, the later is the truth. Armed with this knowledge, we can and must do a study on the history of the Pentecostal movement to verify these point for ourselves.
This ministry, Amightywind.com, is not only Pentecostal by foundation, but they even take it a little further in the spiritual realm. It smacks of heresy and deception from all directions. Is it possible that the misunderstood Pentecostal theology on tongues, baptism in the spirit and spiritual warfare (which is all spiritual acts) opens up the door to the father of lies, to sow into the minds of the unsuspecting victims whatever he chooses??
In prophecy 77 of Amightywind.com you will read about the Azusa revival which is condoned by God to the highest degree:
“Teach them MY Daughter, teach them. You have a burden for the Pentecostals for I saved you in a Pentecostal Church. I anointed you in a Pentecostal Church. I filled you with MY precious RUACH ha KODESH where you received the Holy Tongues that is where I gave you the desire to serve ME all the days of your life. Now I ask you to repay. You say you are angry because the Pentecostal Churches did not teach you the Jewish-ness of your Messiah, the keeping of the Holy Sabbaths, the keeping of the Holy Feasts. Then you teach them. This is why I sent you forth to this land, to this State, to where you said you did not want to go. But I tell you that an anointing is coming greater than any of the other Azusa’s for I sent you forth to the Pentecostal Churches, for how can they obey what they do not know. Thus far you have only said you are Messianic Jewish, so the Pentecostals barely come except those that I send one by one.“
If we can safely conclude that Azusa was nothing other than the beginning of great deception, then this prophecy together with the prophet that spoke it is false. Azusa was a Christian revival that broke out in California in 1906 and it lasted until 1909. The Pentecostal movement see that event as the foundation of their believes. In this prophecy, God is claiming to be pouring out an anointing greater than what was at Azusa.
My sixth point is that of eschatology. This ministry teaches and prophesies about the end time and places itself in the position of “God’s ultimate end time ministry, teaching us the truths regarding end time prophecies”. Eschatology is the study of end time events and prophecies. Amightywind holds to Futurism as their interpretation of end time Bible prophecies. There are three schools of thought in end time prophecy interpretations, namely Preterism, Historicism and Futurism.
Preterism is the school of thought that teaches that the Anti-Christ did come in the form of prince Titus when Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD and persecuted the Jewish believers. According to Preterism, almost the entire fulfilment of end time prophecies was witnessed in the early church era and very little is still to be fulfilled.
Although Pretericm’s view of what happened in 70 AD is not the altimate fulfillment of end time prophecies, it does hide some truth in it. The events in Mathew 24 does have a dual meaning, firstly being fulfilled in 70 AD and replicated on a global scale in the end.
Historicism is the school of thought that teaches that the Vatican / Papal system is the Anti-Christ and that end time prophecies are still in fulfilment, starting before Christ and continuing until the last day. According to Historicism, most of the prophecies in Revelation and Daniel have already been fulfilled in great detail with undeniable evidence and detailed and documented proof. The Vatican / Papal system will once again become the persecuting power of its former days, when 150 million Christians died for their faith in Christ, when they were in total opposition to the teachings of the Mother Church, the Mother of Harlots. The Vatican is the one that exalts itself above God, claiming to be God, claiming to be able to forgive sins and calling the pope the Vicar of Christ – “in the place of Christ” – with a numerical value of 666 (Vicarius Filii Dei = Vicar of Christ = 666)
Futurism is the school of thought that teaches that almost all end time prophecies are still to be fulfilled and that the bulk of these prophecies will be fulfilled in the last seven years of the church area, starting with the rapture, continuing through the rise of the Anti-Christ and his friend the false prophet, until the end.
It was during the reformation, around 500 years ago, that the truth in Bible eschatology was first understood, as it is understood in Historicm today. Almost all the reformers, around a 100 leaders of which I know, understood the prophecies to be pointing towards Rome, the Vatican, the pope and the powers behind the scene of the Vatican, of which they are the masterminds. All of them preached with unrelenting boldness that the seat of the pope is the seat of Satan, that he is the Anti-Christ, that the Roman Church is the Mother of harlots, that the papal system which reign from 538 AD until 1798 (1260 years – Revelation 13 prophesies a 3 1/2 prophetical year period = 1260 literal year period) is referring to the time of persecution of the saints. The reformers even predicted, with the help of prophecy, that the papal see will come to an end in 1798 (when the 3 1/2 years / 42 months / time, times and half a time / 1260 days period is over) when the prophetical beast will receive a deadly head wound, which will be recovered, and did.
The reformation was a huge dagger in the side for Rome and that is when the Counter Reformation was lodged, trying to disrupt and pollute the work of the reformation. Almost all the prophetic interpretations, which is known as futurism today, is theology that was invented by the Roman Jesuits to confuse and discredit the efforts of the reformation – who pointed to the papal system as Anti-Christ. With futurism as part of the counter reformation, the Vatican finally succeeded in extinguishing the fires of the reformation.
By the grace of God, futurism didn’t quite bloom until very recently when it was popularised by modern scholars like Tim la Hay in his novel Left behind. It did grow very steadily over the last 450 years or so, but it was only in the 20th century that futurism was accepted by mainline Christianity as the truth. As Futurism was popularised, so too, additional theological viewpoints developed within itself, like pre-, mid- and post tribulation rapture and many other variations thereof. In the end, futurism is a theology with so much confusion within and just too many theological viewpoints, that it is almost a relieve to learn that Historicim is the most accurate and correct interpretation of Bible eschatology.
What did the Vatican gain by futurism? It divided attention, which initially pointed to itself (Vatican / papal system ) as Anti-Christ, by twisting scriptures that would point to the very future, to a single evil man that will exalt himself above God and will enforce that mark of the beast, known today as the soon coming Anti-Christ. Can’t we rightfully say that the Anti-Christ succeeded therein to slip back into the hearts and minds of Christianity by means of deception? Is it correct to say that Elizabeth Elijah Nikomia teaches eschatology directly out of the mouth of the Anti-Christ? I believe it to be so, what you will do with this information is up to you.
To read my articles on end times prophecy and the Biblical Antichrist, follow these links:
Amightywind also teaches that the rapture will precede the seven year tribulation period. If we study Historicim, is there any room for the rapture? One of the foundational prophecies of Historicism is the 70 weeks prophecy given to Daniel; this prophecy is also known as the Messianic prophecy because it predicted the first coming of the Messiah with utmost accuracy. In futurism, the 70th and final week of this prophecy is dismembered from the rest of the 70 weeks, and assigned to the final seven years of earth. With a little scripture twisting here and a little trick there, a seven year tribulation period with a rapture preceding it, is interpreted, and in the process, the Messianic prophecy lost its original meaning and are left unfulfulled.
Elizabeth also claims that she is one of the Two Witnesses, as spoken of in Revelation 11. I’m sure that Elizabeth believes it to be true, but that doesn’t make it true.
Amightywind prophecy 83:
“I, YAHUVEH command the Bride of YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH this day pray for the Two Witnesses. Pray for the Two Witnesses. For the time is coming that I am sending the angels, oh so shortly to confirm to the Two Witnesses who they are in ME…Remember this, it is one woman it is one man. Do the work you have and do it quickly. I say again, do the work I have given you to do and do it quickly.”
We already know, by studying Bible prophecy in its correct context that the time period given to the ministry of the two witnesses is 3 1/2 prophetical years, thus 1260 literal years. Please read the article “Introduction to Bible prophecy” for more information on this. Without going into lengthy writing here, we can safely agree that Elizabeth would not be able to “prophesy” for 1260 years, therefore, she cannot be one of the Two Witnesses. Her prophecy stating “it would be one woman, it would be one man” is therefore false and she is undeniably a false prophet based on this point alone.
My last point is Amightywind’s teachings on Spiritual warfare. I understand that Elizabeth had a lot of Pentecostal influence in her earlier years, so it explains it all. When I was nominated as a Yahusha Demon Stomper, I still wasn’t convinced one bit that she was authentic, but I played along and eventually received a few emails dictating what to pray when I intercede for the ministry. Most of the prayers were Spiritual warfare against former members or enemies of the ministry. Almost all of it was hateful “spiritual warfare” lingo, candy coated with “in the name of Yahuweh” against enemies, demons, the devil and everything and everyone else that dare come against this ministry. One particular phrase caught my attention, and I will recite it after some explanation. It is common knowledge that Satanists and witches can astral travel, leaving their bodies behind while they travel in the spiritual realm to disrupt whatever they wish (rather, whatever God legally allows him to do).
This particular spiritual warfare prayer went something like this: “I now cut off every silver cord of all astral spirit in my house…and you will surely die…” I couldn’t believe my eyes! Correct me if I’m wrong, but let’s say you do pray this awful prayer in vanity and let’s say it does work, there is really some “evil” person in astral form in your house and his silver cord breaks, would this be murder to the first degree? Or is it “fighting in God’s army” under the leadership of Elizabeth Elijah Nikomia, mighty leader of God’s end time ministry Amightywind, ridding the streets of evil reprobate, satanic Judases like them?
After my confrontation with Elizabeth and this ministry, I had to re-evaluate all theology regarding spiritual warfare. I came to the conclusion that we are not allowed to entertain demons in any way, whatsoever. So what is spiritual warfare then after all? I believe that answer is very simple but lets examine a letter that Paul wrote to the church of Corinth, chapter 11. This verse summarizes the whole faith in one sentence, with the word Simplicity.
“Simplicity”. That little word means a lot. Paul says that he is afraid that their minds might be corrupted (deceived) by Satan through the same cunning lies as he used from the beginning. What else can we learn from this verse? That true Christianity is a faith of SIMPLICITY. Did Jesus come to establish a complicated or a simplistic faith? Simplistic. Did Jesus teach complicated or simplistic lessons in parables? Again, simplistic.
Why is it then, that we see so many movements out there in the harvest field, polluting the original message of salvation through faith in Christ alone by stripping the gospel from its simplicity in Christ and turning it into a complicated elitism, us-against-them, cultish religion? Amightywind is unfortunately just one of many; they are not special in any way. There are hundreds, if not thousands of ministries, based on pretty much the same false doctrine, and all of them believe that they are right and everyone else is wrong.
So far we have learned that Amightywind has their theology upside down with:
1. The Bible is corrupted and needs correction by Elizabeth – we know it is not corrupted; being confirmed by the Textus Receptus on which the first Kings James Bible is based
2. Apostles are to be found today – we know that the Apostolic age ended 1900 years ago, as history confirms
3. Elizabeth tries to exhibit the image of the Old Testament prophets – Gift of prophecy ceased
4. Tongues are as relevant today as before – Gift of Tongues ceases when purpose was fulfilled (Elizabeth speaks in gibberish, not glossolalia which is translated as dialect, tongues of nations)
5. Amightywind is Pentecostal by foundation – Azusa was not a revival as claimed in the prophecies
6. Amightwind claims to bring new revelation – Bible predicts an end time deception not new revelation
7. Amightywind teaches Roman/ Jesuit futurism – Historicm is correct interpretation
Historicism can be summarized with the following points:
- No rapture, just a second advent
- Two witnesses to reign for 1260 literal years, identified as the Old and New Testament
- The idea of a seven years tribulation is faulty – it’s a misinterpretation of Daniels 70 weeks – Messianic prophecy
- Anti-Christ has been identified ( futurism teaches he still has to come)
8. Amightywind uses some extreme forms of “Spiritual warfare”, crossing the spiritual line which the Bible sets – Spiritual warfare is prayer and fasting, indirect warfare, asking God for help
I hope that above mentioned is enough for anyone to realize that Amightywind is definitely not “God’s elite” and that Elizabeth Elijah Nikomia is a false prophet. There are so much more to mention but I’m sure you are well asleep by now, maybe not. For the truth-hungry, here follows some more info.
Let me explain to you what I believe is happening in Amightywind and how I believe people get ensnared in cults like this. It all starts with a corrupt ideology regarding spiritual matters. To rephrase that; it all starts with an unbiblical view of spiritual matters and the spirituality of God’s chosen people. The very foundation thereof is the Holy Spirit and His role (not her role) in our lives. To simplify even more, it all starts with what Pentecostal theology allows us to think regarding a powerful ministry after we have received the Holy Spirit on the day that we were baptize in the Holy Ghost, when we received the fire baptism. This event, is believed, put a believer on a higher level as before and the individual is equipped with power from the Holy Spirit which was never before bestowed upon him/her.
Can you imagine what really happens when a person tarry for the Holy Spirit to engulf him/her, to baptize them in the Spirit, when they unknowingly have already been bestowed the power of the Spirit. All believers are baptized in the Spirit of God, we are all anointed, we are all saved. To tarry for an experience that the Bible doesn’t concur with, is to open ourselves up to the real enemy, and believe me, he will answer your prayers.
Many sincere believers would confirm that they did indeed experience something wonderful from God. I know, I was one of them, and it does feel good. But my question is; did Jesus come to proclaim a feel-good gospel or did He teach a gospel of faith. Now you might ask, how can I put an experience-based Christianity in opposition to a faith-based Christianity? The answer is very simple; if you find proof in the experience (tongues, baptism in the spirit etc) that you are saved, anointed or special, then why do you need faith? Faith is hope in what we cannot see.
If you were baptized with the Holy Ghost upon conversion, as the Bible teaches, then how does tongues fit into this whole theology? For many Pentecostals, Tongues is evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. For other Pentecostals, it might just be an extra plus in their spirituality. Nevertheless, it is still believed that everyone should seek this experience, which is un-biblical, and unknowingly opens the door in your life for foreign input.
I hope that those that have studied the history of Pentecostalism can agree with me, that the first error that creeped into the midst of the church was tongues, ecstatic gibberish, which was only later backed up by scripture to have been the moment of Spirit baptism. These experiences were all spiritual of nature, which is no surprise when we discover that all the other doctrine where Pentecostalism drifted off, were spiritual of nature.
Can it be that un-biblical spiritual experiences leads to more spiritual experiences (in the name of God of course) which leads to even more experiences and in the end, the poor believer lives day in and out, thriving on his experiences of dreams, visions, tongues, prophecies and interpretations thereof, until he slowly sinks deeper into a myriad of confusing theology, which leads away from the Bible?
I believe that is exactly what happens in cults like Amightywind. The initial intention and motivation of the leader might have been sincere, but due to un-biblical spiritual practices, which leads to more un-biblical practices which again opens the door even wider, the individual sinks in confusion and all that remains is a steadfast stubbornness in a believe that it was all in the name of God.
Satan rebelled against God and his first sin was that of pride. Can it be that people become more like the father of lies, the more they drift off, to the point that they themselves cannot distinguish between the father of lies and the Holy Spirit – pride therefore, will be paramount in an individual that sank to the depths of spiritual confusion, believing that he/she has been lifted up by God.
This is, I believe, what happens in Amightywind. The spiritual pride is so extreme that it almost makes one sick to the stomach. With the father of lies constantly supplying more and more new information to the leader, Elizabeth, through “prophecies”, this ministry slowly gets led away from the truth into a more new age, pagan religion.
The evidence therefore is that the Holy Spirit supposedly inform Elizabeth that He is actually a She. Upon receiving this information as manna from heaven, God’s Word so to speak, the cult member is ripe for the next piece of deception. Logically that would be to inform of another name, like Momma Wisdom or Momma Shikeyah. Lets argue and say that Momma Wisdom is really not another name for the Holy Spirit, but a counterfeit, what would the real implications be if you tarry for Momma Wisdom to give you power? You see where it all goes?
Next thing that happens is that this spirit tells Elizabeth that “she” is also the real Queen of Heaven, whereas we all know there is only one Queen of Heaven, that of paganism, which is Ashteroth, the ancient god. In reality, the father of lies led this leader, through her spiritual pride, to a point of no return, and will continue to lead the cult even further into darkness.
Upon acceptance of the above, which unfortunately is a reality for all the member of the cult, they are deeper into darkness than into light, but they all will deny it and still cling to their supposed truths, which they have been fed by the leaders.
As is typical in a cult, the leaders make use of certain methods to control the flock. In Amightywind, the members are stipulated rules that should be followed; rules like not to visit other websites as it might be demonic possessed and not to contact “enemies” as they might manipulate them into finding the opposite to be true. All these prescriptions are strictly controlled by the leader to ensure full cooperation from the members.
Have you ever thought about it this way; in Islam it is believed and taught that the reading of the Injil (New Testament) is dangerous as the Injil can hex the dear Muslim believer into actually believing it. They therefore preach that the Injil should be evaded with all efforts possible as it can steal your faith. Does this sound familiar? In Amightwind, we have exactly the same. The leader Elizabeth, warns her flock not to read any other material (websites, books) and especially not “enemies’” content, as it might be demon possesses or being used against them in mind manipulation. Can it be that Elizabeth actually realizes the truth and tries to hide it by controlling her flock?, just like the Imams do?
Have a look at the tell tale signs of a cult, as described on the website www.ex-cult.org Emphasis are added in Italics.
1. Their leader/s may claim a special, exclusive ministry, revelation or position of authority given by God.
Elizabeth claim to be one of the Two Witnesses, Five virgins, a Ring Maiden, Apostle, Prophet, Pastor and the first one to officially become part of Christ’s bride.
2. They believe they are the only true church and take a critical stance regarding the Christian church while at the same time praising and exalting their own group, leader/s and work.
I cannot say enough on this topic! Just read the prophecies yourself and find the terms “elite”, “God’s chosen”, “Yahushua’s very own ministry”, “demon stompers – the elite force against evil” as describing themselves, while at the same time criticizing anyone that doesn’t agree with them with words like “Satanist”, “reprobate”, “Pharisee”, “Judas”, “wolf”, “demonic possessed”. Sunday churches are labelled as “The Mark of the beast”.
3. They use intimidation or psychological manipulation to keep members loyal to their ranks. This could be in the form of threats of dire calamity sent by God if they leave; certain death at Armageddon; being shunned by their family and friends etc. This is a vital part of the mind control process.
This occurs to the extreme in Amightywind. As mentioned in the previous point, they criticize anyone coming against them with such blatant hatred, called “Holy hatred” or “Holy anger”, that members are “forcefully” manipulated not to ask questions or even contact “enemies” directly. Amightywind has an “enemies list” of all the people that exposes them and currently a lawsuit is pending to sue each individual.
4. Members will be expected to give substantial financial support to the group. This could be compulsory tithing (which is checked); signing over all their property on entering the group; coercive methods of instilling guilt on those who have not contributed; selling magazines, flowers or other goods for the group as part of their “ministry”.
I’m not aware of compulsory tithing, but I am aware of instances where people promised to pledge money, but before they made the payment, they realized that Amightywind is a cult and thus didn’t pay. I cases like this, God’s anger come down on the individuals through supposed prophecies, dooming them to hell. This group survives through tithing alone.
5. There will be great emphasis on loyalty to the group and its teachings. The lives of members will be totally absorbed into the group’s activities. They will have little or no time to think for themselves because of physical and emotional exhaustion. This is also a vital part of the mind control process.
Amightywind prophecies are seen as equal to God’s Word. Anyone not in agreement is a threat to this group and must be evaded; this includes spouses that don’t agree with this group or their supposed prophecies. Some spouses have been asked to divorce after Yahushau gave them “holy divorce decrees”
6. There will be total control over almost all aspects of the private lives of members. This control can be direct through communal living, or constant and repetitious teaching on “how to be a true Christian” or “being obedient to leadership”. Members will look to their leaders for guidance in everything they do.
One of the members of this group, in the inner circle, has recently started asking questions about the group. This poor member was called a traitor and she has to ask “Yahushua” for forgiveness or she would burn for it. They manipulate any feeling towards the group to their favor. Member’s personal lives are often revealed to everyone as a form of manipulation if they start asking questions.
7. Bible-based cults may proclaim they have no clergy/laity distinction and no paid ministry class – that they are all equal.
Not really applicable as far as I know.
8. Any dissent or questioning of the group’s teachings is discouraged. Criticism in any form is seen as rebellion. There will be an emphasis on authority, unquestioning obedience and submission. This is vigilantly maintained.
Any questioning of this groups teaching are not only discouraged, but can and most likely will lead to the members immediate expulsion as a means of avoiding influencing other “good members”.
9. Members are required to demonstrate their loyalty to the group in some way. This could be in the form of “dobbing” on fellow members (including family) under the guise of looking out for their “spiritual welfare”.
This is true for Amightywind. Most of the members preach their groups “new revelations straight from God” with boldness to everything and anyone that is remotely interested. It is common for members to dominate some Christian internet forums.
They may be required to deliberately lie (heavenly deception) or give up their lives by refusing some form of medical treatment.
I’m sure this happens in Amightywind, given the fact that Elizabeth often asks for support of her members to flood enemies’ Youtube comments list with attacks.
10. Attempts to leave or reveal embarrassing facts about the group may be met with threats. Some may have taken oaths of loyalty that involve their lives or have signed a “covenant” and feel threatened by this.
In Amightywind it would mean immediate expulsion from the group if you dare to reveal embarrassing facts, plus a nice little surprise in a “prophecy” where Yahoover condemns you to hell.
It is clear to see, just by looking at the information that I just offered, that Amightywind.com is a cult and a very manipulative one indeed. Most of their prophecies can easily be refuted as blatant lies and absolutely false. I doubt if Elizabeth ever had any formal theological training, given the poor exegeses that she exhibits in her side notes on her website. Furthermore, I fail to see proper Bible studies which is suppose to accompany a website of its claimed caliber, assumed to be “God’s very own end time ministry”.
To demonstrate the hatred that is publicly exhibited by the leader, Elizabeth, please carefully consider the message below that Elizabeth posted on her Youtube channel. I am dumbstruck by the obvious lies, hate and deceit in this group and all I can say is, I rest my case.

Sounds to me like she is manipulating her angry Yahoover to do her killing for her?
